Snake River Bridge at WY 22 Project
About this project
The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is making improvements to Wyoming State Highway 22 (WY 22) between Jackson and Wilson in Teton County. The existing Snake River Bridge will be replaced with a four-lane bridge with a new pedestrian underpass west of the river. Because the WY 22/390 intersection is located very close to the bridge, it will be reconfigured to improve traffic flow. To improve safety, the project also includes installation of three wildlife crossings near the intersection, as well as wildlife fencing, wildlife jump outs, and cattle guards.
